Our 2 Day Relaxation Getaway is the perfect way to unwind. Spend your mornings indulging in our wellness treatments and your afternoons experiencing the fabulous wine and produce on offer in the Denmark region. Wake up in the peaceful serenity of Karma Chalets, enjoy a continental breakfast on your balcony and listen to the birds as they call through the forest. Each day our qualified therapist will select a relaxation treatment for you and your partner. You’ll be fresh and relaxed for an afternoon of wine and food tasting. The Great Southern is home to a wonderful array of food and produce - berries, organic fruit and vegetables, marron, chocolates, toffees, honey, and locally-produced cheese.

Our Relaxation Getaway Package is specifically designed for couples. You are your partner will be accompanied by your own Guide who will provide wine appreciation advice, tasting notes, and personal introductions to cellar door staff and local producers. Discover the passionate winemakers, inspired artisans and committed producers that make Denmark such a special place.

ITINERARY

Day 1 – Arrive in Denmark

Day 2 – Massage Therapy and Wine Tasting

Begin your day with a 60 minute therapeutic massage and an aromatherapy footspa.


Enjoy a lazy lunch of regional food and produce at a local vineyard and then embark on an afternoon of wine tasting.


Return to your chalet to freshen up before heading to a local restaurant for dinner.

Day 3 – Relaxation Treatment and Produce Tasting

Choose from a massage, facial, Indian head massage, body polish, body wrap, mud bath, or reflexology.


Indulge in a delightful regional taste platter for lunch before embarking on an afternoon of culinary delights – sample handmade chocolates, toffees, honey, ice cream and cheeses.


Return to your chalet for a relaxing supper on your private balcony overlooking the peaceful valley.

Wilderness Getaways reserves the right to cancel, delay or alter any tour due to circumstances beyond our control, or the inability of a contractor to fulfil any obligations. We will seek out the best alternatives where necessary.

HEALTH & SAFETY

Our wellness treatments are provided by qualified massage therapists and naturopaths. Prior to receiving your treatment, you should advice your therapist if you have any pre-existing medical conditions.

CLIMATE

The south-west of Western Australia is greatly influenced by the cold Southern Ocean. It is always best to be prepared for cooler days and nights at any time of the year.

ACCOMMODATION

Tour price is inclusive of twin-share rooms in shared chalet accommodation at Karma Chalets…. nestled in the hillside under a canopy of eucalyptus. Ten exclusive chalets, each with a well-equipped kitchen, cosy living area, balcony and BBQ are available. There are different chalet configurations to choose from, including bedrooms with ensuite spa bathrooms. Karma Chalets offers the perfect country retreat to complement your relaxation getaway. Karma’s panoramic outlook provides the ideal backdrop for you to relax with the quiet of nature at your doorstep as beautiful parrots, finches and wrens dart through the branches. Enjoy a superb local wine from one of the many wineries which surround Karma, whilst cooking on your barbeque and soaking in the spectacular views from your balcony.

HOW TO BOOK

1. Review these detailed track notes and check tour departure dates.
2. Send us an email to - bookings@wildernessgetaways.com.au with your preferred tour, package and dates. Please also indicate number of persons who wish to join us. We will do our very best to accommodate you.
3. We will send you a return email with the price, which may include variations if you have any particular requests outside our standard packages. We will also send you a detailed itinerary, medical form and booking form.
4. You return the completed forms to us with the 20% deposit and have your wilderness holiday confirmed.
